PrecisionHawk Adds Leadership to Strengthen Management Team

Founders Take on New Roles in Key Management Positions and Company Hires Chief Financial Officer as PrecisionHawk Scales to Expand Global Market Position

Raleigh, NC – PrecisionHawk Inc. today announced that veteran technology executive Bob Young has been named Chief Executive Officer and William Beyer has been appointed as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Young is also Chairman of the PrecisionHawk’s board of directors. Co-founders Christopher Dean and Dr. Ernest Earon will continue in leadership roles with Dean as President and Dr. Earon as Chief Technology Officer. The new executive appointments are effective immediately.

After experiencing unprecedented growth in the first half of 2015, PrecisionHawk is focusing on strategic hires that will scale the company as a world leader.

As an internationally recognized technologist and business leader, Bob Young brings more than 20 years of software development, management, and marketing experience to PrecisionHawk. Young began his career building computer finance businesses before co-founding open-source software company Red Hat (NYSE: RHT). Red Hat is now a member of the S&P 500 Index. After leaving Red Hat, Young, among other projects, founded and served as CEO of Lulu.com, a leading global online publishing platform.

William R. Beyer brings more than two decades of blue-chip professional experience to PrecisionHawk. Prior to joining PrecisionHawk Beyer served as COO and CFO of Raydiance Inc. during its fast growth phase. In addition to his time at Raydiance, Beyer served as CFO of multiple emerging technology companies including Bitfone Corp., where he successfully oversaw the company’s acquisition by Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) and Advanced Fibre Communications, where Beyer was a key contributor to the company’s successful IPO.
