PrecisionHawk Full Schedule at AUVSI 2015:

Tyler Collins, PrecisionHawk Director of Business Development

Speaker: Commercial UAS Operations: Section 333, NPRM and What the Latest Airspace Regulations Mean to You

Monday, May 04, 2015: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Description: As of February 2015, 28 companies and organizations have been granted Section 333 Exemptions from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to operate unmanned aircraft for a variety of commercial applications. Companies are using UAS for everything from conducting aerial filming to flare stack inspection. In addition to the recent uptick in granted exemptions, the FAA also released its Small UAS Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM). During this panel, legal, regulatory and industry experts will cover the “ins and outs” of navigating the Section 333 process and answer your questions on the NPRM.

Tuesday, May 5, from 1:10 pm – 2:00 pm

Description: It seems as though we are just getting a handle on Big Data here on Earth, but now we have to think about data coming from above. What technologies are being offered to handle this flood of real-time information? What are the legal issues collecting all this data? Hear from Thomas A. Wilczek, Aerospace & Defense Industry Representative for the State of Nevada, and this panel of experts as they discuss the best ways to digest, analyze, and manage the reams of data coming in from UAS (such as those used for Precision Agriculture), and what we can expect as more take flight.

Dr. Ernest Earon, PrecisionHawk President & Co-Founder

Speaker: The Future of In-Flight: PrecisionHawk and Intel Launch New Processor for UAV Platform

Tuesday, 5 May, from 1:30pm- 2:00pm

Description: Showcase new PrecisionHawk processor created in collaboration with Intel. During demo, a target will be randomly placed, the plane will take off and automatically find the target and land on it. As the flight is taking place the UAV will be sending tweets as it goes [location of target, flying altitude].
